A Travellerspoint blog

Sunday 4th January

sunny 26 °C

After breakfast we walked over to our closest beach and spent over an hour on this totally deserted beach just reading and sunbathing. The beach is unsuitable for swimming but the sand was powder soft and it was bliss. On the downside it was a steep climb back to our villa. We had lunch at the villa and then we drove down to the beach were all the surfers hang out - Josiah's Bay. It was a busy afternoon there and we spent about an hour sunbathing and reading. Dinner was at Brandywine and we had booked this restaurant deliberately as we had read some really good reviews. We shared their speciality which was paella but both the meal, service and ambience were all sadly disappointing. Back at the villa we watched a movie and started packing.
