Sunday 4th January

sunny 26 °C

After breakfast we walked over to our closest beach and spent over an hour on this totally deserted beach just reading and sunbathing. The beach is unsuitable for swimming but the sand was powder soft and it was bliss. On the downside it was a steep climb back to our villa. We had lunch at the villa and then we drove down to the beach were all the surfers hang out - Josiah's Bay. It was a busy afternoon there and we spent about an hour sunbathing and reading. Dinner was at Brandywine and we had booked this restaurant deliberately as we had read some really good reviews. We shared their speciality which was paella but both the meal, service and ambience were all sadly disappointing. Back at the villa we watched a movie and started packing.

Saturday 3rd January

sunny 26 °C

In the morning we relaxed at the villa and then we headed over to Long Bay and had lunch at Tropical Fusion. It was a simply cooked Caribbean meal which was tasty and had a great view overlooking the beach. After lunch we walked the full length of Long Bay. On the way home we stopped at Soper's Hole for some shopping and we had dinner at home and watched a film.

Friday 2nd January

sunny 26 °C

We chilled out at the villa and had lunch outside there. In the afternoon we snorkelled at Brewer's Bay and then sunbathed. We had dinner at Origin (sushi bar in Road Town). It was still enjoyable but we weren't quite as impressed as the last time we were there.

Thursday 1st January

sunny 27 °C

After breakfast we headed over to Smugglers Bay and sunbathed and snorkelled. The weather and snorkelling conditions were perfect and we saw plenty of beautiful coral. We had lunch at Sebastian's which was actually very good despite a very long wait. We sunbathed at Brewer's Bay in the afternoon and had dinner at the villa.
